It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to one of our own with the passing of Euan Lawrie
To Pay our respects to him and his family All teams will have a moment of silence before their games this weekend at the cmha finals.
Euan was part of the Waiau pa hockey club for many years, during the 70s 80s and the 90s by being our CMHA delegate and even done his stint as club president and sit on the board for CMHA. Euan is a valued life member of both Wphc and CMHA and is currently our vice patron.
In honour of his memory I asked that all our members wear a black arm band this weekend whether you are a playing or supporting this weekend will be for Euan

Ok so we have 5 teams playing in their semi finals this weekend so let's get down and show our support

First up on Saturday we have the pirates take on Kohekohe at 2:15 mean while on turf two the penguins will be dancing with Ophc

Then on Sunday first up we have our panda cubs take the challenge to make the final with a game v glenbrook
And after lunch the magpies hope to make a statement against pisc Res b at 2pm and to finish the day (hopefully on a high) the pandas will be trying to secure their spot in the woman's res final with a win over Alfriston
So get down to puke over the weekend and cheer on your fellow pa players
